The 1 vs 1 card-drafting shooter, rebuilt: up to 12 players on one screen or online, with rollback.
An open-source, clean-room reimplementation of ROUNDS for Linux and Windows. Every sprite, sound, map and card is loaded from your own copy of the game; nothing of the original is included or downloaded.
Up to twelve players in any mix: twelve on one screen with controllers, twelve machines online, or several couches against each other. Free-for-all or teams of any split, every round decided by the cards you pick.
Warpzone brings public and private rooms, join codes, invite links and NAT traversal; online play uses rollback netcode, so remote players feel as responsive as local ones.
You need: your own copy of ROUNDS (Steam) — rounds-port imports its assets at first start

First public release of rounds-port, a clean-room reimplementation of ROUNDS in Rust for Linux (also the Steam Deck) and Windows: all cards and maps, the original's look, up to 12 players in any mix of local (keyboard, mouse, controllers on one screen) and online play over Warpzone with rollback netcode.
No game data is included. You need your own copy of ROUNDS (Steam); rounds-port imports its assets from your install at first start. Not affiliated with or endorsed by Landfall Games.
Easiest install: the Warpzone launcher installs rounds-port, finds your ROUNDS install, runs the import and starts online rooms for you.
Manual install: unpack the archive for your system and run ./play.sh (Linux) or rounds-port.exe (Windows); the first start looks for ROUNDS in your Steam libraries, or point it at an install with --import --game DIR. See README.txt in the archive. SHA256SUMS covers both archives.
This is a first version (prerelease): CI runs without game data, and the tests that need imported data passed against a real install before release. Please report problems as GitHub issues.
